I think Johnson was a little too concerned about the Titan's rush defense. Keep running the ball and force the Titans to commit extra defenders and have their EDGEs focus on setting the edge rather than pinning their ears back. Then you can find some passing lanes and time to throw.

I suspect it's entirely a vibes thing right now. The Lions have had one hell of a run in the monochrome colors lately. (Their only loss so far this year was in the blue/silver, for what it's worth.)

Too many big chunk plays being given up by the defense right now... and a lot of it stems from absolutely no pressure being generated by the front.
