I'm watching the Pitt/Toledo bowl game and the crowd suddenly erupted into a Jared Goff chant.

I'm at the GameAbove Sports Bowl rooting on the Pitt Panthers and I heard the Jared Goff chant but it was pretty faint. Pitt's backup running back is named Goff. I expect if he scores that Jared Goff chant will be louder

It was loud and clear on TV and I'm rooting for Toledo.

Pitt started out 7-0 and finished 0-6. They will have to regroup for next year. They blew that game yesterday. Up 10 with 7 minutes left, if they simply ran the ball in the middle of the line 3 times and avoid the pick 6, there is no way Toledo is getting 10 points with less than six minutes left.

I was a Goff detractor, but I gotta say he's drastically .... let's see... what's the right word... MATURED. We may have the best QB or at worst #2 in the league, behind you-know-who.

I don't know and that last game didn't help my thoughts on Goff.

You can win with Goff, and the defense really needs help. This is a comment more about whether Goff is in the top five, top ten, or Top fifteen; he can definitely look top five at times.

I stopped listening to 97.1 as soon as the Lions lost that game. They are not about to make me feel better about it.

I'm sure I'll go back once the season gets going again, but until then, I'm 100% music radio.
