Vikings #2 run defense and #30 vs the pass. They aren't putting up a lot of yards offensively (middle of the pack) but are 5th in PPG as they are leading the league with 11 INTs including a couple of TAINTS.

Would love to go out there and run it down their throat, but guessing Flores won't let that happen. So need to keep Goff clean, no turnovers, no short fields for the them, don't let Jefferson kill you, and make them pay for their funky blitzes. Just don't do that 55 pass bullshit from the Bucs game.

This may be controversial but-I don’t mind splitting with the Vikings in the regular season because if we play them in the playoffs the chance to beat a team 3 times in one year I believe would be low.

I honestly don’t have a good read about this game. Felt pretty safe about last week vs the Cowboys with several reasons the Lions should win that game. When compared to Lions @ Vikings, it comes across as a total mystery box that has too many possible scenarios to think about.

Significant game. A lazy comment to say is it might simply come down to turnover margin. Luck and randomness. Go Lions!

I’m going to be paying attention to two things in particular:
- When the Lions have 4 man pass rush, what kind of pressure can the edge players create when on an island.
- When the Lions blitz, can the coverage hold up or can the blitz get home?

It’s our trial period without Hutchinson and the defensive adjustments it requires. This should factor into your desire to make a trade after the game is over. We get to see what the Lions have on the roster.

The Vikings have been feasting on turnovers. The Vikings rush defense will face their biggest test. I forecast a shootout. I think the Lions will stymie the Viking running attack forcing them into passing over 50 times and the Lions will have trouble covering Jefferson.

Give up 23 with as dynamic an offense as the Lions have - you should at the very least be taking it down to the final drive.
