Both teams need a QB, so draft picks help if they need to move up.

I suppose if everything goes perfectly, and Hutch proves to be one of those fast healers, sure... he could be back to form by early February.

Whole lotta "ifs" in that scenario, though.

I mean, his dad is an ER doctor, so regardless of what they are saying publicly, I'm sure they fully understand the realm of what's possible given his injury.

And the Hutchinson family is really big into actualizing goals. One of the big deep dive stories into Hutch talked about how he's been like that since a young age and i think it was his mom that was a big driver of that philosophy in their family. He actually said he "manifested" his senior year and victory over OSU in that on field post game interview. So even if it's the longest of longshots, that doesn't seem like something that would really phase them.

Oh, I am not going to say anyone there is wrong. Because they aren't. It's certainly in the realm of the possible if everything goes right.

But there's a lot of factors there completely outside of any personal control or manifesting. Most notably, it doesn't matter how fast Hutch heals if the Lions don't make it that far.

Oh yeah, not disagreeing. Just saying the Hutchinson family seems a bit like Han Solo - never tell them the odds. They are going to set their own expectations.

The reality of the Hutch injury is that he probably won’t even be putting any weight on the leg til December.
Even if he could get on the field in a Super Bowl he’s not going to be at any level close to what we know he can be.
I would rather him just do what is right for long term success for him and the Lions

I was watching Ermanni and Edwards of Woodward Sports. They have a doctor on weekly. He said they will have him walking in ague rehab in a week or two.

There is one positive to cling to. This isn't the Washington Commanders medical staff.
Every recovery is different, every timetable is different. Just need for Hutch' body to tell us what that is.
