I mean, his dad is an ER doctor, so regardless of what they are saying publicly, I'm sure they fully understand the realm of what's possible given his injury.
And the Hutchinson family is really big into actualizing goals. One of the big deep dive stories into Hutch talked about how he's been like that since a young age and i think it was his mom that was a big driver of that philosophy in their family. He actually said he "manifested" his senior year and victory over OSU in that on field post game interview. So even if it's the longest of longshots, that doesn't seem like something that would really phase them.

Oh, I am not going to say anyone there is wrong. Because they aren't. It's certainly in the realm of the possible if everything goes right.
But there's a lot of factors there completely outside of any personal control or manifesting. Most notably, it doesn't matter how fast Hutch heals if the Lions don't make it that far.

The reality of the Hutch injury is that he probably won’t even be putting any weight on the leg til December.
Even if he could get on the field in a Super Bowl he’s not going to be at any level close to what we know he can be.
I would rather him just do what is right for long term success for him and the Lions

He may make a move, but only after some time to decompress and decide exactly who would be the best fit that he can get at a price that won't break the bank.Dan Campbell admits the Detroit Lions need more out of their pass rush, and a trade is still very much on the table.
