Burkhardt is doing a lot to frame Brady, set him up, mention he’s the GOAT QB and all and it detracts from the broadcast. Hopefully they find their rhythm eventually. It just sucks because it was so good with Olson and they just threw that out. Nobody is tuning into games because Brady is calling them.

I find the whole thing weird. Nobody can question Brady's resume and the networks always go for guys like that, but in his 25 years of playing football in the public I can remember nothing memorable he even said and he won 7 Super Bowls. He gave some decent analysis today but also some cringe.

Al was on a local broadcast, not anywhere like this.

Yeah, there were a couple of spots when he started to get into QB jargon and how he would see a play and it was interesting. And then he’d quickly get back to just calling everything great or fun. Stop being a hype man, we’re already here.

Nobody sounds comfortable in their 1st season in the booth.
That said, he's probably under the biggest microscope you can be in the booth.
He'll figure out that fine line between talking about a game in a generic sense and "this is how we did/I would do things".

As awkward as he sounds - I'd still listen to him over Romo.

My point is that Al was horrible when he started but he improved mightily. Brady will be just fine.

I liked when Brady said he didn’t like Sewell’s ball security. He was joking but it also felt like he was kind of not.

My point is that Al was horrible when he started but he improved mightily. Brady will be just fine.

He'll be fine but I'm not sure he'll get to the point where Olsen was. One of the biggest problems is that Burkhart has regressed without Olsen.

One thing that I liked about Brady was that his enthusiasm for the game is real. You could see him get excited when he talked about the Lions offence when the cut to his analysis.

My daughter texted me and said that if you took a drink every time he said one dimensional you would be dead by the end of the game. After she pointed it out, I couldn't miss it.
