Dallas 5 Detroit 0 in the first wild card game ever played at the cotton bowl
2014 Officials pick up the flag and Lions lost in the playoffs . It was PI against Pettigrew. No flag?
      Last year
      Skipper and “reportgate”

Let’s kick the boys butts by two scores so the officials cannot take this away from us.
Dallas is badly hurt on the defense and they have CeeDee Lamb and that’s about it on offense.

Run the ball and pass at unexpected times .

      Lions 31 Jerruh’s boys 17

Have to win by 10 to overcome Jerry's obligatory 7 RefPoints™.

Playing in Dallas is very similar to playing in Green Bay. Gotta win by 7 to win by 3.

I remember sitting in shock for a good 5 minutes after that kick.

The funny thing about that play is how primitive the understanding of two minute offenses and defenses were at the time. The Lions are lined up in trips. Dallas sends three defensive backs over late and all in press coverage. The inside receiver is TE Ulysses Norris and the guy on him tries to jump and run him and let's him easily release on an inside slant. Norris gets down to the 30 with 18 seconds left. Back then you couldn't spike the ball, you had to throw it out of bounds. In high school we had a play called Hurricane where you line up quickly and throw it out of bounds in the direction of the wide receiver to stop the clock . They didn't do that because Murray mistakenly ran on the field.

That 1981 Lion team was 4th in points scored, 3rd in total offense, 13th in scoring defense, 4th in total defense and they finished 8-8. That is crazy.

I hope the Lions get up 20+ and then have Skipper report in on every offensive play.

The Lions sure seem to be embracing the monochrome bump, huh?

Elite uniform combo. The ice crystals … or there are better nicknames out there. 2022 Lions @ Packers, 2023 Lions @ Chiefs.

Is there a Tropical Smoothie Cafe promo code that can be used on Sunday too? 🤤 Come on Lions, I would be down to get some after the gym tomorrow morning.

                      That would be funny.
I hope the Lions do that on the very first play of the game for the offense. Skipper or Decker reports as eligible.

                      GO LIONS.

                        - Revenge for 2023’s nonsense.
                        - Bye week.
                        - Cowboys depleted at edge rushers (down their top 4 guys?)
                        - Lions are a better team this season.
                        - Physical Steelers beating up the Cowboys and short rest.
However, it’s the NFL. Logic hardly exists in predicting future results from our less informed fans perspective. Seahawks were down both of their starting OTs in last year’s Lions matchup… They comfortably scored 30+ points. LOGIC.

Lions need to be ready for exotic blitzes. Zimmer will need to be creative to pressure Goff. Be ready for it. Cowboys kicker is spooky ridiculous too. Hope it doesn’t comedown to him.

The key line in there is "However, it's the NFL"......The betting industries have made billions off people betting because of trying to figure things out....I agree the Lions should win this hands down, but you never know in this league...A bad call (like that has never happened in Dallas before), an ill-timed penalty (had that too), a key injury, you just never know.
