Seahawk (osprey snackus) , from pigeon rainus, is a water fowl known for its obnoxious support and exceptional flavor.
Where are we going; and what's up with this hand basket?

Nice trick, looks like something out of a Warner Brothers ( bugs bunny) cartoon.
I imagine Osprey tastes like chicken.

This is a case where I'm sure that Johnson had a gameday plan all this week, but it's also a chance to show he learned something from the Tampa Bay debacle.

Pretty much the entire starting DL for the Seahawks is out for tonight. Test those backups, see if they can stop the run.

Lots of injuries on both sides. I think we are going to see who has the better depth tonight.

Expect some additional black flair at Ford Field tonight. And Calvin Johnson will get added to the "Pride of the Lions."

I like the two Monday night games, especially early on. Wish they didn’t overlap quite as much, but gives me an option if one of the games has like Rodgers or the Cowboys or something I don’t care to watch. But it does take a bit of the luster off it, and not sure I’d love a whole season of them.

It will be interesting to see the viewership numbers of the two games...I have to think that the Lions game will have a much larger number, but I guess you never know....Without Tua, I dont think the Dolphins-Titans matchup is very appealing.

I wonder how many people are going to watch Will Levis (mayo man) vs Tyler Huntley when compared to our game...

                      Go Lions!
Seahawks are 8-1 vs the Lions in the 21st century. Including 5 wins in a row. Therefore, I’m taking the Lions to narrowly escape with a win. Time for the series to come back to the mean. It will also be WAY TOO much drama for 11:15pm EST on a Monday night. Sewell MVP.

                      Lions 27
                      Seahawks 23
                      Lions -3.5
                      AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

                        Seahawks' injury designations

                        OUT
                        • DT Leonard Williams
                        • EDGE Boye Mafe
                        • DT Byron Murphy
                        • EDGE Uchenna Nwosu

These are notable absences because these four players are the preferred defensive front when the Seahawks are in their nickel formation—which is their primary set. Nwosu has yet to play this seasons, but Maye currently leads the Seahawks in sacks (3) and pressures (17), Williams is third in both categories, while Murphy—the Seahawks first round pick—was fifth in pressures.

I think Branch cleared the concussion protocol but he is questionable with an illness

Not listed with an injury designation
                          • TE Sam LaPorta (ankle)
                          • OT Dan Skipper (ribs)
                          • DT Alim McNeill (shoulder)
                          • DL Levi Onwuzurike (knee)
                          • LB Alex Anzalone (concussion)
                          • S Brian Branch (concussion)

LaPorta didn’t practice to start the week but he was practicing in full by Friday and all indicators are that he’ll be good to go for Monday night.

“He looked really good yesterday,” Campbell said of LaPorta Saturday morning. “That was good to see. So he’s bounced back quickly, healed up nicely, and so he’s good.”

Skipper, like LaPorta, didn’t practice on Thursday but returned in full on Friday, indicating he should be good to go.

McNeill was injured against the Cardinals in Week 3 and was unable to finish the game. Despite what looked like a significant injury, McNeill managed to practice everyday this week, getting in a limited practice on Thursday and full practices after that.

Onwuzurike was also injured in Week 3, but he managed to finish the game, then practiced at the same level as McNeill, which likely means he’ll be ready to roll on Monday.

Anzalone practiced in full all week, which likely indicates he has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and should be ready to play against the Seahawks.

Branch was limited on Thursday, then got in two full practices, which also indicates he is close to, or has cleared the NFL’s protocols as well. If cleared, he’s start on Monday.

No injury excuses for the Lions. That's like their 4 best DL/pass rushers right there.
