It's crazy how much blue was in the stands. When it was victory formation time the cameras finally panned out and showed how blue it was. I know the Cards fans were leaving and that Honolulu blue really pops with the red contrast, but still. Lots of blue. All game long you saw Kyler in the silent count, "Let's go Lions" chants, tons of noise on Arizona 3rd downs. Love it.

Another one of these "boring wins" MCDC's teams are giving us. Good. Will never get tired of these "20-6 vibe" type of games.

Agreed. I really like the guy and his cockyness. He's going to be a good one. The offense is still disconcerting but they'll come around. They Better!!!!

Good: With Anzalone and Barnes out, LB depth seemed to hold

Every NFL team will suffer injuries to starters. The unfortunate part of sports. Luckily for the Lions, LB is their deepest position. Potentially losing Barnes will marginally hurt, but it could be worse if different starting players get injured. Not what I consider a pillar of the roster. Such as: Goff, St. Brown, Decker, Ragnow, Sewell, and Hutchinson.

Fingers crossed for my Purdue buddy. Along with McNeill. Please not season ending. Missing a few weeks is perfectly fine as that can help develop depth for the playoffs.

Appreciate the grit and any road win, but would be nice to get a couple of non-grit required wins.

Looking at the schedule and how teams, especially NFC teams are playing, I think they are all going to be "grit" wins.

This season is going to be a slog.

They are top 5 in offensive yards. Top 5 in rushing. If they keep that up, the points will follow.

But the bright side is their defense so far looks legit. They are top 5 in stopping the run, only the Steelers and Ravens give up less per attempt.

Oh, i don't doubt it. But my for my own sake, would love a game where the other team aren't in a position to win/tie the game with a single drive (or play) in the last 3-4 minutes. Either that or just need to start drinking more during games.

                        The latter is more likely.
