Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • The offense might be sputtering for awhile. I think they are missing at least one piece and if you look at the league, offense is slightly down. Everything in the NFL is cyclical and it looks like they are going to have to find different avenues to score.

    • I won't say that defenses have "figured out" Ben Johnson and his offensive strategy. What I think has happened is that they've learned some of his tendencies, and are actively taking them away in ways they haven't done before.

An example I keep noticing is that short drop quick read to the middle of the field (LaPorta abused defenses to hell last year with it) that has been a bread-and-butter play in Johnson's scheme. Defenses are sitting on that play in situations where the Lions loved to run it. As a result, it's not as effective as it had been the past two years (and two of Goff's picks have been on this throw, where he's throwing to a spot, only to see far too late that a defender has anticipated it and beaten the receiver to the spot).

We lost last week because we had the traditional/mixed unis, but also I made the gameweek thread and I didn't wanna take any chances. Every time I make gameweek or gameday, we lose.

1-0 as blueberries and 1-0 as whiteberries this year, last year felt like all our losses (aside from the CC) were in mixed unis also.

Ah yes, marshmallows. Why did I say whiteberries? And yeah I'm done making threads until we win the Super Bowl and I'm sure it will be bananas in here.
