Damn. just saw this.
Unfortunate to hear the news, but appreciative of everyone over the years. Specifically Deb for running the forum.
I joined back in 2009 just before Twitter and other forms of Lions/Michigan social media communities took off. Loyal to a fault and obviously stuck around for 15 years. If people migrate elsewhere/ have ideas, please feel free to post where before the official shutdown. Sure there’s plenty of good options out there. Saw that AlabamaAlum posted something and I will have to review. Maybe will have to consider going back to Twitter, but some jerk stole my original username due to deactivating the account. I’m going to miss our movie discussion and TV series threads in particular.
A weird thing is how I didn’t know any Lions fans prior to graduating high school due to growing up away from Michigan. (Excluding my Dad…). With the internet and social media, it seems like a ton of us are now interconnected in some way. Stay positive/ friendly to others and Go Lions! One last shout-out to the goated Jahlani Tavai draft thread. 🤣AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

This announcement bummed me. I followed the forum as mostly a lurker for years and have been more active in draft season the last few. I enjoy the banter and ability to have actual conversations here.
Since the announcement, the forum has had very little activity. Have people gone somewhere else already, or is it a combination of the announcement and the conclusion of the draft?

I'm trying to see what the next step is for this Forum, and if necessary, where I could go next.
I'm already at a Detroit Pistons Forum such as this link here, but with how horrid that team has been now for the last 15 years (Thanks, Tom Gores for the last 13 years! /Sarcasm) I rarely post on there.
I'll keep an eye on this Forum until the very end. Hopefully, there will be a website for all of us long time posters to migrate to."I hope to see the Lions in the Super Bowl before I die"

I've been travelling so I have not been very active since the announcement. (I am sure you were all wondering and awaiting my posts with bated breath...)
On another note, I would like to see us be able to have our own forum one way or another. Joining an already established forum does not really appeal to me as I would hate to lose the forum "lore". Of course, if that is the only way to keep in touch with you knuckleheads, I *guess* I could deal with it
Some of the other forums I have been involved in have had two tiers. One was free with ads and the other was a pay version that was ad free. I would gladly pay a yearly fee to be able to keep the band together. I think the M forum guys would probably like that as well as they have a small core that have posted together for as long as we have?
What's the word, jaadam?I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
