It’s funny how the avatar morphs into the person. When Future would post about what he saw in a game, I pictured Jules Winnfield in a Barry jersey yelling at the TV. I still remember the first time it occurred to me that SoCal wasn’t wearing a gigantic cowboy hat in his car while stuck in traffic.

Futureshock's passing hit me hard yesterday. Seeing all of the photos of him on his obituary page just reinforced what a big loss it is. He was a good guy and his family must be hurting badly.

I did look for more information yesterday. His employer said that he passed "after a short illness." His sister said that he died from complications of liver cancer. :(

It's going to be difficult without him here.

I'm going to miss the Monday morning post in the game day thread where he took the quoting all of the memorable posts during the game.

Yep, did he take over that role from Bimmer?

Always did the exact same......, read all those memorable posts with McDs coffee usually of NBT moaning his paps off.

Any time a forum member passes it is tough, but for some reason, losing Futureshock has really hit me hard. I know that a big part of that was that he was such a great guy, but other members that passed were great guys too. Maybe because the others seemed to have long time illnesses and it wasn't so much of a surprise?

I don't know. I do know, that this one has me pretty shaken.

That he never mentioned the cancer on this forum probably says a lot about him.
I give him respect for not wanting attention on his condition.
like I’ve mentioned in another thread, go play with your grand kids.

I went and looked at some of those pics too. To my surprise he didn’t look like Samual L Jackson from Pulp Fiction.

He looked just like I hoped he would. A happy dude surrounded by loved ones. I wish I would have met him and hung out.
                            F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

No, he certainly did not look like Samual L Jackson……. Dude was waaay better looking. Could’ve been a film star himself.

And another thing i noted…… maybe its the Scottish coming out……. I know Future was a nice family man etc, BUT ….. if the shit hit the fan at a tailgate or any gathering, I reckon Albert would’ve kicked everyones a$$!! Solid looking guy.

I am so sorry for his family. The fact his dad is still alive- your parents should never outlive their kids!
Hopefully the sad memories currently will be replaced soon with the great ones of how beautiful this guy was for his family and members of this forum.
                                Rest in peace Futureshock.
In heaven for Futureshock Tom Brady has never won a superbowl , but the Lions have won 10.
