Futureshock was certainly my main “go to” for Lions news. He seemed to capture all headlines, however large or small, and post here. Was great. Greatly missed. RIP big guy.

And a shout out to Whatever_Gong who seems to have taken over and is posting a lot of very good stuff.

The weird thing is, Future and me were both raised in the same small town in Michigan, but I left the state 19 years ago, and other than going to 3 different funerals in my family, and one little trip up there in 2011, I haven't been up there since, and unfortunately, never met the man.

Totally agree man. Said it already but it really annoys me that he was the most loyal Lions fan who was there religiously through all of the many, many down years that he wasn't able to see this.

It’s crazy how you can feel so strongly about a guy you never even met, but he was such a passionate and dedicated Lions fan and he never gave up on believing on the team that had given him so little back.

I would give fucking anything to swap one of those awful Patricia seasons for this one so Future could’ve seen it himself, I know he’d be all up in the GBU thread highlighting a million people’s posts and commenting on them all individually.

That's always my fear. Some of them we have a lot of warnings like Sharkbait and Desert Lion, so even if their loved ones doesn't tell us, when they would have stopped posting we would be confident of what happened. But how many have just stopped posting and we might I wonder what happened to that guy. If I just died randomly would you guys ever know. Last year I lost a really really good friend within 30 days of a diagnosis. The quickness of it is something I am still having a hard time dealing with.
