Thought his son was basically running the team since last year.

But running the team by spending what would be daddies profits is one thing. Knowing that the 25 million that A-Rod is getting could be 25 million in the pocket is another. Also I wouldn't put it past them to sell it either. Without spending a penny they could make over 2 billion in the sale of the team and network.

There should either be a salary cap or not. In fact I would say while an open market might make them the most dominate team, it also did more for players then any amount of union negotiations.

Well, technically he's not dead. But his career likely is. He was finally dropped by his talent agency. For anybody who hasn't heard his latest, check it out.

If you honestly believe that people will shy away from him because of this, well its just not going to happen. Might take a break from acting for a couple years but he will still produce and direct for awhile. He hasn't really been interested in acting and was semi retired before even the DUI arrest.

                          • Oh I think his acting career is over. He sounds like a raving lunatic and has behaved like one for the past few years. Maybe he can still produce and direct, if he's not considered a liability by those who are funding the projects, but even that might be a reach.

He funded Apocalyptico and Passion of the Christ almost completely by himself.

                              • Yeah I thought so. I wonder if he's still in a position to do that. And if he did, if anyone would go see it...
