      • When I think back to some of my personal all-time favorite movies, Hoosiers and Unforgiven are high on that list.

Here is a list of Hackman's movies sorted by IMDB rating: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls07623701..._rating%2Cdesc

So many great ones on that list. Mississippi Burning is another one that impacted my world view.

        • David Johansen died today.

I was a fan back in the day. I saw the Dolls in a club in NYC sometime around spring '77.

          It was wonderful noise. Ha!

          • Unforgiven is one of my favorites. Crimson Tide and Bat-21 are a few others.

                • That sounds like the most logical explanation given the known facts, it still seems farfetched that she would die like that. It's just so weird that nobody stayed in contact with them that it took 10 days before they were discovered.

I'm sure I seen him open for Joan Jett around that time. At one of those closed down old neighborhood movie theatres that used to be spread over the city in Grand Rapids Michigan. My buddy and I had to take the city bus because we weren't old enough to drive. It was also about a 5 mile bike ride just to get to the closest bus stop.

He must have won free tickets or something because neither of us had a clue who he was. We ended up meeting a couple older wild girls and ended up partying and getting drove home at about 4am. My first real shit faced teen adventure.

Guess my friend was incorrect in his reporting

                      • Still alot of little things that may be explained but dont really add up....

She made no effort to contact anyone? Did the virus hit her that suddenly?
What about the open bottle of sleeping pills scattered near her?
How'd the unkenneled dog die but the other two lived?
Hackman was 95 and apparently had late stage Dimentia so I guess that explains why he lived 6 days longer but no one heard from him?
Maybe he was so incapacitated at this point that he just couldnt function at all?

                        • They weren’t sleeping pills, it was thyroid medication for a known condition. The dog that died was the one in the kennel, and the reason it was in the kennel was because it had just had a medical procedure (she had picked the dog up from the vet a few days before she died).

                          • The explanation given is credible.

Hackman had dementia. He probably didn't even know she was dead.
