Malik Taylor, AKA Phife Dawg, one of the founding memebers of A Tribe Called Quest has died at age 45 after a long battle with diabetes.

Tribe was one of the groups that set the standard in the thriving musinc scene in the early 90's. Midnight Marauders was one of the most complete albums in the history of music IMO, right up there with Dark Side of the Moon.

Do you believe it was cancer? I am a skeptical kind of guy but, why would his bizzare behavior be OK to announce he has a drug problem but no mention about cancer if it was known?
