First Lemmy, now David Bowie? Wtf is going on!
RIP :("...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

Very sad.
I don't know Bowie that well for his music outside of a few big songs (given my age), but I do remember him for his minor role in "The Prestige." He played Nikola Telsa in that movie. That was my favorite movie in high school for a couple months. I even did a project in my AP Europian History class about Telsa because of David Bowie's role.
Oh and his part in "Zoolander" of courseAAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Apparently he was fighting cancer for 18 months. They were rumors 3 years back that he was near death but they were just tumors, but the implication was that he was not well. He had essentially retired from touring. I had read about a year back that when he was recording this last album that he told his guys that they would never tour with this music.
But it doesn't sound like he told many, Brian Eno didn't know.
Follow that link and read the piece, it is not for anyone who tears up easily
