  • Billy Mays died from Coke...... I guess now we know why he talked so fast ....
    The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder

That is somewhat consistent with the high energy profile in his commercials. Even if the family is trying to dispute it.
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

              This really makes me sad.:(

John Hughes movies were awesome when I was a teenager and I still find myself watching if there is one on TBS. Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the win. The Vacation movies, the Brat Pack, Sixteen Candles, Dutch was underrated, etc. I know that I always have to watch Xmas Vacation every xmas.

Clark: Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, fore-fleshing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. Hallelujah. Holy shit. Where's the Tylenol?

                    LOL!

                    *sigh*

                    Still sad (but chuckling).

I came very close to meeting him once. When I was about 14 I had a "big brother" through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. Long story short, I lived in Ohio, but my Big Brother lived in Ill., more specifically a small suburb outside of Chicago called Northbrook where he helped his parents run a few family owned restaurants. So anyway, one night, we notice the street right behind the restaurant is being blocked off and there are a tons of lights all over the place....even longer story short....the scene where Uncle Buck is driving Tia home after taking a few golf swings at Bug was filmed there.

Amazingly to me, the shoot....that simple little walk down the street took about 4 hours and they did it 7 or 8 times. It got too late for me, and I missed meeting him after that shoot by about 15 minutes.

Two years later I DID meet Chris Farley at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Got to damn near have lunch with him.
Why are you laughing? All I said was, "I'm a Lions fan".

Planes, Trains was JC's shining moment. Seriously, I thought his acting was great in that movie.
