It's just a small error, not like our team hiring Matt Millen back in the day.

        • Hated him as president, admired him in his private life. Up until recently he was still helping build houses for Habitat for Humanity.

          • Some celebrity deaths hit a lot harder than you think. When I was growing up Bob Uecker was everywhere. I must have been 11 years old reading Catcher in the Wry. At the time I thought he was the greatest and I wasn't wrong.
Bob Uecker, the voice of the team on the airwaves for 54 years, a Baseball Hall of Famer and local, statewide and national icon, died Thursday.

              • Uecker was an absolute 1-of-1. What a unique guy and career.

                • The “I must be in the front row!” commercial is the most famous but there were a series of those Miller Lite commercials with him. I was watching them yesterday and this one has a pre-fame John Goodman in it.

                  • Roberta Flack ….. RIP.

Sitting here feeling very bad for LMAO. I did not realise it was her who did “Feel Like Makin’ Love To You” ….. and its just been played on the radio.
All i can see is Vince Vaughn dancing to it at his daughter’s bar mitzvah in Starsky & Hutch.

Vaughn doing the “love” letters sign language.
“Feel like making EL OH VEE EE love to you!”

But, again, rest in peace, Roberta.

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies found Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa and a dog dead when they performed a welfare check, a spokesperson said.

                          • Yeah will be interesting what they find out with the autopsy....There was an open bottle of sleeping pills found near her and the dog died near her also...Could be coincedence or could be she committed suicide when finding Hackman dead and the dog also got into the pills? THats a longshot but cant rule it out.

Yes he was. Even in more comedy roles like the blind man in Young Frankenstein. Hilarious.
