                            I'm not saying it's fair but the victims put a face on that side of the argument. If "Doing good" gave us some people who could be pointed to it might balance it more

                              For ESPN, it kinda was. They've lost their bait.

                              With Paterno gone, they don't have a convenient distraction to keep attention away from Bernie Fine and how ESPN "empowered" his pedophilia in much the same way the network angrily accused Paterno of doing.

                                I know he was coaching from the booth but I figured that was because after getting his leg broken a few years ago he had decided he wasn't quick enough to get out of the way now days.

                                That sure was fast.

                                RIP Joe.

                                Too bad his career ended the way it did. Too bad he didn't use better judgment also. He must have been pretty confident it could all be kept on the QT. No matter, it just wasn't right and I believe in stark contrast of who he really was.
                                I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.
