    • Funny how our outlooks differ on our opinions of women...To me Elizabeth Taylor was pretty...To my way of thinking she was the girl next door.

On the other hand those who have always captivated me are among others, Raquel Welch, Sophia Loren and Ursula Andress, the first Bond Lady.

              • First female VP candidate Geraldine Ferraro dies at 75

Geraldine Ferraro, who in 1984 became the first woman to run for vice president on a major party ticket, only to lose in a landslide, died today. She was 75.
Ferraro died at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she was being treated for blood cancer. She died just before 10 a.m., said Amanda Fuchs Miller, a family friend who worked for Ferraro in her 1998 Senate bid and was acting as a spokeswoman for the family.

                            • Unfortunately, no one really cared enough to check on her after a couple of days.

If you don't have family or close friends, this is probably what will happen. Very Sad! :(

                              RIP Ms. Vickers

                              • A year? Dead one entire year before anyone noticed? Did she live in "ignorant arsehole" county or something? Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you Americans have mailboxes out on your lawns like in the films? Wouldn't her mailbox have been jam packed full with letters all bursting out? A fucking YEAR?

She was a bit of a babe in her day......., RIP YV.
