    • Wow, first Beavers Mom then Richies Dad.

      Time keeps on ticking......
I long for a Lions team that is consistently competitive.

      • Florence Henderson better look twice before crossing the street with the way iconic tv parents are dropping.

        • It wouldn't be right for Chuck Cunningham not to pay hommage to his Dad....but then again he did disown. Truthfully though, I am saddened by the loss of 2 TV Parents of shows I thoroughly enjoyed, but celebrate a very successful life for both of them.

                  • Awww, sorry to hear that. He was my favorite manager. My best Tigers memories are from when he was at the helm.

                          • ?I know I?m the real Sparky. But Sparky ain?t the real me.

?There?s Sparky Anderson, he?s the one who manages a baseball team. He talks to the nation and appears all over the country. Baseball is show business. That?s the way it should be. And that?s where Sparky belongs.

?Then there?s George Anderson. He?s the guy from Bridgewater, South Dakota. He?s the guy who knows he?s no smarter or no better than the guy next door. George Anderson is me.?

Sparky's been gone for a long time. RIP, George.
