Haven't heard of any financial issues and for what it takes to get movies like that off the ground it takes some good business sense. My guess is he probably has a couple of production companies that are being ran separate from him that keeps money coming in and he can still probably produce his own stuff when he wants.

As for Movies. Polanski has had no issues getting his stuff seen by people and he drugged and raped a 13 year old, plead guilty, and when he found out that the judge was going to reject his plea bargain because it had him serving jail time fled the country and hid in France for 30 years.

The dude is rich enough he doesn't have to worry about A-Rod's 25 mill. The Steinbrenner's and the Yankees are so tightly tied now, I have a hard time believing them ever being sold.

I mean, having your pregnant wife killed by the Manson family would prolly loosen a few screws.
I don't even know if I am ready to talk about it.....

More specifically like a 8 month 3 week pregnant wife and half a dozen of your friends.

Still no reason to go around raping 13 year old and skipping bail because you might get a little jail time after you have already plead guilty.

I didn't think you were, just trying to avoid people reading that stuff and gaining sympathy for him. Mel Gibson might have anger management issues, a sexist, and a bigot, but he isn't anywhere near the sleazeball as Polanski and people eat up his shit like its a delicacy.

                    • No sympathy from me, but dude did have a fucked up life.

He also lived as a jew in nazi-occupied poland prior to WWII, and his mom dying at Auschwitz. His dad survived the concentration camp he was sent to, so Polanski should consider himself lucky!

maybe the girl he drugged and raped was german?
