If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

            • I can understand how people get addicted. 5 years ago, a doc gave me Lortab for a pinched shoulder nerve. That stuff made me feel good. Happy good.

              • I've seen so many people I know fall victim to prescription medication. I think that's the reason I never got hooked on the stuff, even though they certainly do make a person feel really good.

                  • I deal with it everyday in my practice... Vicodin is the #1 request, followed by percocet. Anyone who says--those ________ don't work on me, I need ______ instead--- 99.99% of the time they have a narcotics addiction.

                      • DAN V is a DDS.

DDS give out Vicodin routinely as the pain deadener for oral care.

You can't rightfully ask your DDS for percocet, darvocet (sp?) or valium for a painful tooth nerve.

                        But I get his point.

Prescrip Meds have long been the scourge of America.

But damn it, that Marijuana is going to ruin this country! <Fake @$$ politician finger wagging in your face>

20 years ago in school I learned the drug problem in this country went like this (not how the pols make you believe):

                        1) Prescription Meds (its legal don't you know)
                        2) Caffeine (the world fiends for this shit)
                        3) Nicotine (the tobacco ind. hooks you up and then force fiends you)
                        4) Alcohol

                        Pot isn't even top 4

In the 20 years since, I'm sure prescription medication and caffeine have created some separation with the increase in variety of medications as well as the explosion of energy drinks.

Its actually funny to look at that list. 2 of them I am straight up addicted to. A third heavily used once or twice a week and occasionally otherwise.
