  • Good season but Auburn was better today. The little guy scoop layups that worked against Mississippi did not work against Auburn. Fun season, got to find a way to be able to shoot better from the arc next season

    • Four 1-seeds in the Final Four.

When was the last time that happened?

      • That performance is gonna haunt Holloman all offseason, which may not be a bad thing. Izzo maximized the return on this group,

Who knows with the portal, but next year looks promising, need Fears and Booker to make a leap, which is certainly possible.

          • Agreed on Holloman, he was bad. They had a great year and made it work but I thought their fatal flaw (3 point shooting) would hurt them eventually. They ran into a bigger team. They also have a weird lineup makeup that hurts them. All three of their guards were very similar in how they need to attack to get points, basically having to make high difficulty shots in the paint. If you can't hit threes, teams just pack the paint.

The three bigs of were all very similar. Fidler and Carr stood out because they brought some size at the wing position. Having athletic wings is a must. Hopefully they can find someone to replace Fidler, they spend NIL money so that might be theit #1 priority.

I'm unsure about Booker. I think he is a portal candidate, he is making a lot in NIL but couldn't see the court by the end of the year. I cannot imagine that arrangement is going to stay as is

            • They got Auburned...good run though. Izzo has done such a good job with MSU's basketball program.
