  • It looks like Indiana's biggest crime was being the first game. Tennessee looks like ass

    • Tennessee would have finished 10th or 11th in the Big Ten. The SEC was horrible this year.

      • Indiana was the Ole Miss of the Big Ten this year.

        • Doesn’t erase the pain of the Lions, but that was a great win for the Spartans and a really entertaining game.

          • That was freaking sweet. Doing this well with Akins being a non-factor on offense is shocking, but Richardson is picking up that slack. I love the way Holloman plays. Tough as nails.

This is an easy team to root for.

            • Big Ten Champs! A win, but Izzo can coach that game like a loss.

              • Coen Carr was great tonight. Spartans looked nervous and tight as hell at the start, but ended up playing their game. (Except for the fact that they hit some threes.)

                • Yeah, they decided to get my blood pressure up for the first half, but let it settle down pretty quickly in the second.

                  • Sparty's had their shots. Would be nice if they'd fall once in a while.

                    • Whoo boy were those some fun defensive exchanges.

But hey, Sparty? Can we stop with the slow starts and spotting teams like 10 points? That would be nice.

                      • As long as they are cold from 3 it fucks up everything. They win by war of attrition and wearing down these other teams. But these guards can't shy away from open threes even if they are cold, it fucks up the spacing.

New Mexico had a really good game plan. MSU always benefits in the tournament because teams from other conferences cannot handle the Spartan fast break, but they didn't get that advantage going against Richard Pitino. Frankie Fidler saved their ass tonight.

                        • To pull that off with almost zero from Richardson is amazing. It I’d rather not try that again. Akins stepped up.

                          • Some of the defensive plays were really fun to watch. There was one where it was an MSU block, followed by a Nevada steal on the fast break, then another MSU block, then a diving save off the block. There was a lot of hustle from both teams last night.
