It'd be one thing if they were 1-4 simply because they were still building a roster. But a large part of the reason they are 1-4 is due to coaching stupidity.

There are points were you realize someone just isn't the guy for the job. I think MCDC just crossed that Rubicon for a lot of fans this week. I would have no problem firing him at the end of this year if he doesn't straighten up his own personal mess.

I think the Lions enter the bye week at 3-2 and things appear fine two weeks from now. Well on the way to my 8-9 record prediction… a success given the current state of the roster.

But to be fair… I did admit to being wrong about the Lions season. 8-9 record prediction. So wrong. Hence, the clown profile picture until next year.

Just doesn't make much sense atm. Certainly shouldn't keep his job if they can't turn things around to improve on last year.

I should probably say solid improvement. I'm probably not buying 4 wins as good enough even if it's technically better.

I hate to say it but I’m starting to think the same. Belichick absolutely had his lunch today. They’re not breaking tendencies, they’re no longer making effective adjustments, they’re brave when they don’t need to be and cowardly when they need to be brave.

I love Dan Campbell but this isn’t good enough.

The good news is that if they fail to turn it around and the Rams offensive line continues to struggle whoever they have next year should have some good draft stock.

Yes. The Rams are a fucking mess right now.

22 games 4-17-1.....Initially we thought the first 2 seasons were a given, regardless of record, but DC is starting to look like he is in over his head...Great rah rah guy but that only seems to go so far.

Based on my Twitter feed, Dan Campbell has lost the internet. I think think the fallout of the call in the Minny game broke what ever internal logic he was using to make decisions and now he’s just flailing and second guessing himself all over the place.

Hard Knocks may have been the worst thing for him and the Lions. Built up too much good will prematurely.

As long as I have been watching football, teams have shied away from going for it on fourth down. The stats say it's a good move most of the time. So Campbell deserves credit for being aggressive on that front. But if you do it a lot, you are going to get days where you go 0-6 on 4th down.

I like a lot of what Campbell does, but wearing your heart on the sleeve as much as he does can be problematic.

Campbell has really kinda taken the emotional knee-jerk responses to the other extreme. Yeah, going for it is the better play than conventional coaches believe, but that doesn't mean its always the better play.
