Signing guys on prove it contracts sounds like a good idea unless you are relying on him and he isn't proving it.

Well it comes down to the defense again...The got no pressure on Cousins all day unless they blitzed.....There were 70 seconds left on the 4th and 4...I could easily see them going into a prevent and the Vikings scoring 40 seconds later.....It just looked like the typical Lions game...No matter what they decide they find a way to lose.

If someone doesn't prove it, that is the point of a prove it contract. The team can move on.

I will be upset if the Lions don’t win these two games. Anything less, then yes… please question the Lions regime.
          Why?

You need him right fucking now, if he isn't doing shit now, you failed. Great, thanks you can move on from him in the offseason, meanwhile he took 69 snaps yesterday.

Not like there is some great WR waiting. With Williams inactive, he's going to be on the field. With Williams in game, I'd guess he's played himself into a smaller role, but yesterday specifically what other option really is there who would be better?

This is not a SB caliber team. This team has glaring weak spots all over. We can't go from what the Quin era left to great team with depth this quickly. It takes time. Right now Chark is the best we have and really the best we had access to. Personally I don't expect (assuming his play stays consistent) him to be part of the team next year, but he is going to see playing time for at least a few more weeks.

He's only a bust if they thought he was more then a good Forum Historically he does better when he's not respected by the defense with a Home CB. When he has, he kind of gets D'd up. If they though he was better then that then that's their fault.

Every GM struggles with a position, maybe WR is his. Although, if St. Brown doesn't get hurt, I don't think we're discussing Chark. It's not like they gave him 20 mil on a prove it. His utilization is more a product of the other guys then him.

I think Jameson takes that spot by his 3rd game played.
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

You fellas act like there is years and years to build. Chark looks like he's on the same path as Perriman and Williams.

I don't see him as a long term answer. Never did. His replacement is playing college right now. Who? IDK.

They will need more then Jameson to get to where we'd like. Injuries happen all the time in the NFL and if your backups aren't suitable, your screwed. Right now all we have is St. Brown. And he's injured. When we get Williams in there, we will have two.

Think about it like they did on the OL. They have 4-5 guys that are really good. Pro Bowl types. The guys behind them (4) would have decent shot at starting on most teams. That's what they need in the other position groups.

Luckily, you don't have to expend 1st rounders to find good WRs nowadays.

Theres a pretty good reason why Chark only got a 1 year deal.....He wasnt a long term solution, more of a temporary bandaid.

He's not being a BandAid right now though.

I didn't like how Chark and Raymond's spots were secure during the preseason.

Speaking of invisible, where's Quintez Cephus? Has he played an offensive snap this season?
