      • This is the current Sagarin ratings. Sagarin is one of the oldest and most respected algorithms for the NFL power ratings. I've casually monitored it for years. While I'm sure it has happened, I don't remember a team ever having more than a full point on every other team in the NFL like the Lions currently do:

        image.png
5 home games, 3 road games left & Lions will be favored in all of them as of this moment.

Here are the predictions according to Sagarin. These point spreads are kinda ridiculous

        Jaguars @ Lions by 8.5
        Lions by 8 @ Colts
        Bears @ Lions by 10
        Packers @ Lions by 3
        Bills @ Lions by 2
        Lions by 9 @ Bears
        Lions by 2 @ 49ers
        Vikings @ Lions by 5.5

          What a stretch we had!

          • The game against the Texans is a true example of how this team can no longer be labeled "same old lions" - how they pulled of that improbable comeback speaks volumes as to how far we've come. At halftime I was pretty sure we were going to lose a tough one, but it was a tale of two halves indeed. The next three games line up nicely for a favorable schedule.

            • I am hoping that the game against the Jaguars isn't a "let down" game coming off the emotional come back win at the Texans. I could see it being close and the Lions feeling comfortable to be playing at home again after two weeks on the road. I am hoping that they will come out strong not wanting a repeat of what happened on Sunday. The Jaguars have played the Eagles, packers, and Texans close.
All emotions can be traced back to two basic ones........love and fear.

                  • I kind of think the let down game was the Texans game.

Hopefully only first downs for the Lions.

That one was the, nobody played in pre season, game. It doesn't count.

                          • You don't really want an undefeated season.

No fears. Lions find the offense again to the tune of 40ish. As Loops said Lions had their down game--------------for now. Another may come later but it's back to SOP for now. Houston defense was really good. Detroit learned a lot and will adjust as other teams will now try an duplicate the Houston game plan.
