Honestly, that really surprises me. I read most if not all of Wojo's LIons articles and can't recall him ever being overly negative. It's something that I think I would have noticed as I've never thought of Wojo as negative. Maybe it's something he's said on the radio?

I never thought Sharpe was unfair in his criticism of the Lions. Monarez is just awful. I could never take him seriously after he basically lobbied for Patricia to keep his job.

I’m not holding my breath about the uniform change. I don’t think anything can beat the throwbacks. If it does, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

i'm not a fan of constant changes to uniforms.....I dont like turning the game on and trying to figure out which team I am rooting for because both of them are wearing new uniforms....I like that the Lions have Honolulu blue and silver.....It gives the team an identity.

I remember the question and the response but don’t remember who asked it.
probably can find it on YouTube if I wanted to but I think the silliness of the question caught Goff off guard and he just felt like saying the Lions did not have as many pro bowlers but that in a one game playoff to decide a Championship that it was irrelevant.
His take was that the Lions were there for a reason and would match up with the Niners no matter how many pro bowlers they had.

It wasn't an article, it was a question at a presser prior to the NFCCG. I'm sure you saw it. Wasn't a big deal and Goff was quick, calm and cool throughout. But it was Wojo and wasn't even all that negative.
