That Robertson contract reminds me how much Quinn and Patricia were out of their depth when they signed Justin Coleman to a 4 year 36 million dollar deal in 2019. Good grief, the spin on that signing ("slot corner is the new emerging position") was out of controlComment

I wonder if this signing is also with an eye to getting Branch more snaps at safety. Kerby starts freelancing they can shift Branch back. Or even just with an eye towards Branch's long term position being safety.Comment

Man I don't know. This kid isn't J Ramsey by any stretch but his highlight reel is nice. He's got some serious quickness to his game. That makes sense, they seemed to really like the energy Ceedy brought, so bringing in a guy like that replaces some of the same. Robertson not afraid to mix it up either, come up and stick some receivers and RBs, so i'm sure they liked that as well.Comment
