So many people were fretting that Ford Field simply wouldn't be able to grant the Lions the sort of sound advantage that the Silverdome did. I argued the problem was less the stadium and more that the Lions weren't giving their fans a compelling reason to crank up the volume.

These last two weeks really showed that despite fewer people inside, the people of Detroit are more than capable of turning Ford Field into a wall of noise. I dunno if its as bad as it could get in the Silverdome, but it was more than loud enough to impact the opponents quite significantly.

They’ll get him up to speed on the basics and probably a handful of specific plays for him. Vets like that have seen a log stuff and can adapt pretty quick.
