The other day Ricco on Valenti's show was talking about how he was at the last Lions playoff win - cuz someone gave him a free ticket, because nobody really gave a shit about going. And Valenti asked if there was proof - did he have a picture.
He answered 'No man, You didn't go to take selfies and be on your phone back then. You actually experienced it. You were there, ya know'. Or words to that effect. It sounds amazing. I remember those days.
I've not been to a big concert in years, but I wonder how many people actually experience it, and how many are watching through their screen / camera.
Eh, damn kids!!!!!!

Yeah, there was never a lot of true sellouts at the Silverdome. The furniture stores Gardener-White or Art Van were always credited to buying up the amount of tickets needed to get it over the 95 percent threshold to lift the blackout rules. But that was only the case on Thanksgiving, prime time or playoff games. I have very vivid memories of the seasons where they hosted the playoff games in 91 and 93 but not of the games themselves.

I’d like to think that when there are tailgates over there, everyone forgets about their FB’s and SnapChats and instas and whatever “streaks” theyre on. 🤦♂️
Genuinely reckon it could be used as a punishment to the 30’s and under.
two scenarios:
1. “Judge rules, for the crime committed; one year in jail.”
“Aw shit. Ok. 🤷♂️”
2. “Judge rules, for the crime committed, 30 days with no phone.”
”NOOOOOOO…..” ——>> wrestled to the floor, taken away to a mental institution.
