JOE Schmidt was the Head Coach for the Detroit Lions from 1967-1972, not the bean counter that WCF Sr. foolishly put in charge of the team instead of Jerry Vainisi, former vice president of player personnel for the Detroit Lions from 1987-1990. The same guy that drafted Chris Spielman and Barry Sanders.

"I hope to see the Lions in the Super Bowl before I die"
My friend Ken L
"This is much different than when the Lions were running their wide 9 scheme under Schwartz where they would have games where they got gashed on basic running plays."
The ends would line up so wide you could run for 10 yards between the tackles untouched often.....You could understand the basic premise of it, but mostly it took too long to work and left huge holes in between the tackles.
Fatty Patty too. We couldn’t stop the run for shit
F#*K OHIO!!!
