Made me think of the previous 3 game win streak at GB which was 1986, 87 and 88. The 88 game was at Milwaukee County Stadium.

          The QB's in those games:
          86 Eric Hipple
87 Todd Hons (strike season, don't remember this name at all)
          88 Rusty Hilger

            • I think they lost in Milwaukee in 89, I have this distinct memory of them leading and trying to run out the clock and they had two fumbles on the same Richard Johnson end around play. One late in the 4th quarter and one in overtime. This has to be a fake memory.

That's right, Sanders had a big day rushing but the Lions couldn't finish it.

                  • Yeah I couldn't find a write-up for the game but the box scores indicates 2 fumbles by Rodney Pete which were probably on those end arounds to Johnson. But the first one must have happened a lot earlier. The Lions score the last 10 points in regulation in the 4th to send it to OT.

No you didn't, I screwed up. Rich Eisen was only talking about Lions QBs.

                      • I remember the victory in 91. Mel Gray and Barry had good games. The Packers were thinking Don Majkowski was their savior.

And around the same time, Ron Wolf, Mike Holmgren, and Brett Favre joined the team, and started a almost 3 decade run of misery in Green Bay for the Lions.

Thanks to Sheila, Brad and Dan, we're now the team that can beat them in their own place.

Busted. You’re right. I didn’t know that. I’ll make up shit as well to get my “12 years at Lions and sucking” point across.
