Sorry about being the bearer of bad news, but I felt that article had to be shown on this Forum.

    • I mean... I don't know what people expect. Demand for limited tickets goes up, price goes up. It's not hard to understand.

That's what happens when your product is... ya know... something people want to see.

      • Tickets had been almost the exact same for the last, like, 5 years right? I'm sure it is sticker shock, but they had to see this coming. How could you not?

        • The Ticket had folks call in to discuss pricing. This poor guy said his front row tickets went from $4,400 to $11,000. Dayummmm.

Most who called said they will pay it since they've waited so long for the Lions to finally be good.

          • I was a bit surprised to see just how affordable some tickets still were up through 2023. I knew that they held or kept increases to minimum levels in recent years. But I had 4 great seats in the lower bowl end zone for 10 years (started with the last 2 years in the Silverdome). Gave them up after I moved away and couldn't get anybody to take free tickets and a parking pass for the games I didn't go to in 2008 (0-16, duh). And the prices people were paying for similar seats in 2023 were only like ~30% more than what I was paying back in the day.

The increase sucks, but their prices are now more in line with a lot of other teams. Now, if they ever start making fans pay for PSLs, that's would make for an uproar.

              • The Lions have been pretty anti-PSLs and I think the criticism of the last price hikes made them hold the line for a good 5-6 years. If you combine those two with the fact that they are now good, it's a recipe for a steep hike when they decided to raise prices.

It's only taken 25 years, but the whole point of Ford Field was to reduce the capacity from the cavernous Silverdome to a smaller size 60+ K was to make the tickets more desirable.

                        • The ref thought Jamo was jumping up to get in the grill of the Denver player that knocked him over backwards. Jamo was just fired up.

                            • Hooker has been added to the active roster and Teddy B is on the record as saying he’ll retire at the end of the season. Good deal on both accounts

                              • If they lock down the division and playoff positioning before week 17, I bet we get 1/2 of Bridgewater and 1/2 of Hooker.
