The blue is awesome. I wish the Lion was a bit more menacing but I love it.
F#*K OHIO!!!
You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.
It is a little thin but don’t sell Reynolds short. He and Goff are really good together. Williams getting his training camp and preC will be big.
I think not going after Hopkins is a mistake but if they don’t like his personality I get it. It is weird that the Pats would go after someone with personality issues though.
I started talking about Hopkins in January...but after reading about Hopkins practice/work ethic, I completely understand why they don't want his schtick around the young players. Hopkins is all about Hopkins...he doesn't care if his teammates get better or his team makes the playoffs. So I get staying away from him.
I just think we need another able training camp body who could possibly step in and produce. Like I said in my first post....if there is an injury that group goes south in a hurry.
Maybe one of those rookies will step up....but I'd rather have some sort of a backup plan. As dumb as it sounds...I'd even be on board for a Golliday reunion, because if you asked me who was a better WR right now: Golliday or Kennedy? The answer is not Tom Kennedy

Golliday looked really really really bad without Stafford. I get they kept him on the back burner last year. But that was because of his 2021 season. His 2021 season was just absolutely terrible and he was the premier WR. I don't like Jones. He shouldn't have gotten that contract. But he not bad enough to make a receiver look that bad. Kenny checked out after he got that money and I wouldn't assume there is a reclamation project in there unless he is desperate to show off for another big contract.
"and I wanna fuck Angie Dickenson, let's see who gets lucky first"
Junior Soprano
Yeah maybe, but OBJ got the contract and that looked unlikely until he got it. If you are looking to shore up the wide receiver core right now repeating a Junior Soprano quote isn't going to convince Hopkins to come to the Lions. If you want him now, you have to spend that now. He's going to wait no matter how clever you think Sopranos quotes are. If he was willing to come in on a 5 million dollar deal right now, he would be on a roster.
Lighten up Frances…my sopranos quote wasn’t meant to impress Hopkins ( to most people I think that was implied). I am truly sorry that my soprano’s quote ruffled your delicate sensibilities.
You see…sometimes people use these things called “expressions” (see also: figurative language). And what I meant by my expression…was that Hopkins isn’t going to get anywhere near that money right now…he’s just not. There aren’t enough teams interested and there’s no money this time of year….these are facts.
And the money OBJ got was more about showing Lamar they’d get him weaponz (see also: desperation).
The Bored argue thread needs some action. Since Covid has taken a back seat and the Lions produced some positive emotions the forum has gone into sleep mode for the summer.
Chase Young has been so transformational, the Commanders didn't pick up his 5th year option and he may be available for a mid round pick. He's had 9 total sacks in three seasons. He has potential but so far it hasn't shown due to injuries and inconsistency.
Parcells diatribe on "potential" speaks to Young
Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.
Reminds me of guys like Kimbala Edwards. Sure there are opportunities for redemption when moving to a new location. But most of that is down to opportunity. Chase had a good first year a good reminder not to get too attached to Houston or assume that Huch is going to be an all star his whole career. Both have a lot to prove. Also think back to players like Lawarence Jackson that had a good run while feeding off of better players and was out of the league a couple of years after having a halfway decent year, never playing with anyone after the Lions. Chase has all the play time and opportunity to prove himself and hasn't been. Maybe a 5th-7th. But I wouldn't give a pick with any value for him. You got enough DE's that give you what Chase is giving now, with in my opinion no real upside. In the future my guess if he tries making a career of it, Chase will have success as #3 or #4 coming off the bench fresh with Talent, like Houston did for us last year.
