The suspension isn't way over the top. It's stupid, based off a stupid rule. They're adults. That's what you get for making them be 3 years out of high school. They should be able to do whatever they want as long as it's legal and doesn't compromise the NFL
But ... he's dumb for not obeying the rule
WHO CARES why it says paper jam when there is no paper jam?
This actually may have been a good thing to happen.
The lions now have a better view of what may be going on in his life.
He probably said I’m good and will be smarter. But now they see it’s a bigger issue then that.
Kind of compare it to that young Grizzly star who showed the world what he was getting into privately.
I don’t think we need to knee jerk into a WR high just because of a 7 game ban. I do think we needed to take a WR anyway, particularly an X receiver big bodied type guy though not necessarily at 18.
I’m no huge draft geek but Cedric Tillman could be interesting for that profile mid rounds.
With Cephus, Chark, and Jamo (6 games) all gone/out, I think they do need to address it....Injuries happen...also I dont think you want a guy like Kalif raymond playing WR every down....He should be a fill in type only.....I tdoesnt need to be a first round pick but I imagine they draft one in round 2 or 3.

That was probably already the plan.
2012 Detroit Lions Draft: 1) Cordy Glenn G , 2) Brandon Taylor S, 3) Sean Spence olb, 4) Joe Adams WR/KR, 5) Matt McCants OT, 7a) B.J. Coleman QB 7b) Kewshan Martin WR

Ja Morant is the first thing I thought about when I heard about the IG live from Vegas.
I was thinking Charles Rogers. Both missed significant time from their first two seasons. Rogers was injured both years but if I remember right, he had to stay away from the team and his immaturity did not help the situation.
Here’s my biggest issue with the whole no gambling at team facilities:
In partnering with gambling entities, the NFL is the one who opened up the door and let them in…they can’t keep gambling from the team facilities because it’s already there, even if they don’t allow their employees to partake.
I guess I understand….I just think that 1/3 of a season for this particular infraction is too harsh.
I think it has a lot to do with wanting the athletes to keep it in their personal lives and not around teammates. Once collusion starts happening with players that control the game anything is possible. The NFL wants to be the ones rigging the games, not the players.
F#*K OHIO!!!

The more I look at this WR class, the more I'd pass on all of them. Its not a strong class at all. Draft for talent not need. Its a deep TE class, stick with pass catchers just not WR. And not in the first round

The trade rumors around Jerry Jeudy are partly a product of the Denver Broncos not having a pick in the first two rounds of the 2023 NFL draft, stemming from the acquisition of Russell Wilson last year.
Per ESPN's Jeff Legwold, the Broncos have been "resolute" in their discussions with other teams about receiving a first- or second-round draft pick back in any deal for Jeudy.
ESPN's Dan Graziano reported on March 13 that multiple clubs believe the Broncos could trade one of their wide receivers and had talks with teams about Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and KJ Hamler.

The problem with Jeudy is, he’s about to get paid. His 5th year option would be almost $13M which is still a relative bargain for a good WR. But then you’re looking to sign him to a long term extension at the same time as Sun God. Can they put $40-50M a year into those two guys at the same time? At a position typically churns out lots of talent most years in the draft?
