That's really reaching for the positive .
All I see is another season of excuses and apologies for a player who has produced nothing. Seriously, he needs something like 2000 yards and 10 tds in, hopefully, 10 games (I personally don't expect him to be a major factor nor will he be available for his 10 games). At this point all jameson is not more than a cap hit and dead money.
The bloom is off the rose for him. Either produce at an unworldly pace or send him packing and get someone who will be on the field. Talent is irrelevant when not playing.

Well, they are, but they aren't the character damning red flags that some fans who decided they hated the dude pretty much the moment he was drafted want them to be.
Regardless of how dumb the rule is... it's not like it's some secret rule the NFL pulled out of the dustbins from the 1970s. There are at least two separate rookie symposiums that tell players coming into the league exactly what they can and can't do in terms of betting, and teams theoretically are supposed to be reinforcing those rules every offseason. It's not a good look by any stretch of the imagination.
That said, I sincerely doubt JaMo is going to miss 6 games; there's simply nothing about his actions that warrant it. Betting on non-NFL games during a voluntary session not even mandated by the team? I doubt the NFL is going to fight that particularly hard, nor would it hold up before an arbitrator even if they wanted to.

So everyone that gambles on one of these sites "tell on themselves" because it is required really.

Unless these some snitching Bitch thereTrickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The Lions NEVER get to play the Lions, let alone twice.

AND YET, PLAYERS CAN PLAY FF AND HAVE LEAGUES (while legally betting money on these leagues) RIGHT IN THE LOCKER ROOMS.
Oh, and oh yeah, have it all on social media
It's like if your parents told you to not gamble and you say, "It's only fantasy football, it's not like gambling." A lot of older people who just not understand that it most certainly is gambling.Trickalicious - I don't think it is fair that the division rivals get to play the Lions twice. The optics are horrible. I've defended Jamo when a lot of Lions fans have had concerns about him and think he's been harshly treated with this ridiculous penalty (worse than many PED offenses), but at some point you've got to play the game (literally as well as figuratively).
Going to Vegas literally 2 days after you've been suspended for gambling looks moronic.

Here’s my biggest issue with the whole no gambling at team facilities:
In partnering with gambling entities, the NFL is the one who opened up the door and let them in…they can’t keep gambling from the team facilities because it’s already there, even if they don’t allow their employees to partake.
I guess I understand….I just think that 1/3 of a season for this particular infraction is too harsh.

Absolutely not.
No offence, but I’m glad you’re not the GM. Would be a horrendous waste of draft resources after trading up to get him.
He needs a good talking to from MCDC and Holmes and he needs senior players to put an arm round him and give him better advice. MJJ and ARSB, I’m looking at you.
Less slot machine, more JUGS machine. And yes, the suspension is way over the top.
