I have an html page that is rendering FusionCharts. To update the chart data, I need to execute a php script from the html page (using javascript). The php script prints XML data to the console that I will parse and use to update the charts.
I need to know how to:
a) execute the script
b) read the xml data
My other option is to have the php script just create an xml file that I can then read using javascript. Problem is, the php script will execute every couple of seconds to supply realtime monitoring data.
Any help or suggestions?#birdsarentreal

Experts-Exchange is a really good place to get answers....just don't forget the dash unless you're trying to connect this thread to the Stuff that Pisses You Off thread."This is an empty signature. I watched your coffee clip Tony then got diahorrea. Was weird."...when Hibernian won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”

I thought it was cool, but overkill. I'm pretty content with a decent cup of black coffee, though.
I bet it is a bitch to clean, too.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

1. Sweet case and PC Coop, I have a virtual erection of pure envy.
2. Is there any data transfer lost on the USB 3.0 going through a riser card? I'm not sure how it works with the new boards but in the past always knew riser cards offered a performance hit so was curious.

My lovely wife's birthday is today so I decided to acquire a decent gaming laptop for her use. Did the research and the end result was the ASUS G74SX-BBK9/COREI7-2670QM/8GB/1TB/17.3.
Intel I7 processor
8GB RAM
2GB Dedicated Graphics memory (yeah baby)
GeForce GTX 560M Graphics Card
1TB Hard drive
17.3 inch screen
This sucker is a battle wagon but I know she'll get enjoyment out of it. Only downside is I think they're using a 5400 RPM hard drive, would have preferred at least a 7200 but for what she uses it for, (Farmville, Shockwave games, etc), I doubt she'll see the performance loss.
