Apple not supporting flash is an achilles heel - the public drama between Adobe and Apple has played itself out with Apple now pushing HTML5. Read an article yesterday that developers are finding ways around Apple's app store to avoid having to fork over 30% of profits to Jobs & Co.

Having an iphone - I've deliberated about getting an ipad but it's (to me) just another toy - the one use I can see for it is trips. On a plane, movies would be perfect.

Some level of communication. The nicks can establish a handshake, but for example if it is not broadcasting the MAC, or the firmware requires communication with the hard drive and that isn't working before it "boots up" then that could be an issue.

What type of drive is it? One of those network Mybooks from WD? The enclosures accross that whole Mybook line are horrible. Very poor internal hardware, enclosures are not their cup of tea.

Apparently all I needed was the term "enclosure".

Did a search on "MyBook World enclusure failure" and found a post where someone fixed the problem by trying a new power cord. I swapped cords with my other drive and it's working perfectly now...I just need to find a replacement cord for my other drive now.

I am more interested in the development of the Google purchase of Motorola. Probably the best feeling/constructed Android phones out there imho. So while I know that they purchased Motorola for IP protection, I just can't help to look forward to future Blurless, unlocked boatloaders, that inevitably Google is going to push Moto to release. I have a feeling they will be handling most of the future Nexus lineup of phones in the future.
