Newegg seems at worst equal and usually lower in price both with computers and cameras. I'll check them both again next time I buy something, though - competition is good
are digital zoom lens' for a srdigital any different from a sr lens? I have eight different zoom lens for my sr camera... can they be used for a sr digital? Am going to Yellowstone in sept and taking a hot air balloon ride.. wanted to get some kick ass pics
If you keep shootin, you can turn any piece of meat into burger
It really depends. How long ago were the lenses bought? Many of the current lenses work either way, with the older lenses you may lose some of the functionality of the camera. (things done automatically have to be done manually)

Yellowstone is great, Stee! Are you driving out from Michigan?
"Am going to Yellowstone in sept and taking a hot air balloon ride.. "
---------------------------That will be awesome.
"If you are driving, the route out through the black hills and the badlands is awesome."
-----------------------YES! And then swing through Red Lodge Montana and say hi to Barbie O'Malley for me. Ahhhh Sweet memories.

Stee, I didn't have any recommendations for you. I'm a few years from being into the news on them. Obviously you are going with the brand of your lenses ? Start from there and go accordingly. Also, like phones and computers, digital cameras have a rapid expansion of technology. So don't be surprised 6 months later when you see a new model out...

We had a cabin up on the East Rosebud (about a half hour drive from Red Lodge) when I was growing up. It's my favorite place on earth.
It sounds like you have things pretty well planned out, but if you have a free afternoon you could drive up there to Roscoe and eat at the Grizzly Bar or the Dew Drop Inn over in Absarokee.
Our family drove out and did a 3 week trip in a pop up camper in '77. We came to the conclusion that it was 1 week too many in west memphis ark. at 11 pm when it had cooled down to 90 with 85% humidity. The campground we were in had these demonic little no-see-um bugs that got in the camper and felt like they drew blood when they bit. Dad finally had enough. We went and got a motel for the rest of the night, moteled it the rest of the way home and never used it again.
