I took a neat picture of my 2 year old Granddaughter and my 2 year old spaniel watching deer out of my window. How do I make that into an avatar? Is there somewhere on the forum that explains how to do it? If it's complicated and takes thinking on my part, forget it. Thinking makes my penis sore. (:

Hit "User CP" in the toolbar across the top of the screen. This will take you to another screen.
Hit "Edit Avatar" in that screen. This will take you to a third screen.
Option #2 is to upload your avatar from your home computer.
Good luck.

You're assuming he has it saved on his computer. :-) I have this picture of Yoop with a polaroid in his hand trying to figure out how to get it in the computer.
Congrats Deborah! Is it possible to talk with other people within your company who also telecommute? It might be interesting to see what challenges they face and also what advantages it gives to them. Maybe there's some material in there or not. Might also wanna tap Ken's brain to see what he thinks. His business keeps him pretty up-to-date.
As an aside the contract labor was mentioned and that seems to be a big trend now. It lets a company dismiss people with no notice or severance required. In my interview in GR the hiring manager said he doesn't get why companies invest so much into contract workers who can leave for a better opportunity at a moment's notice. Dunno if any of this sparks anything for ya but I wish you all the best with it. Once you have it written I wanna see a copy!
Last week I read in a technical rag an article about, I forgot the technical term they used, but basically software as a service. In particular, Google vs. MS wrt online office suites. Apparently their models are quite different. Maybe some room for analysis there.
Cloud computing. Excellent topic, Deb, if you'd like the topic to be IT related. Most likely some good stuff here on cost models and how to determine if your company should use cloud application or traditional self-hosted applications.
