Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Look carefully though, I believe the majority are not. If I remember correctly they are usually NiMH.

I do have a little walmart wire feed welder, Doesn't have dial though just high and low toggle switch. Haven't seem my meter in sometime, think one of my boys used it and didn't put it back? Just might have to try this out. My laptop goes dead in like 10-15 mins from a full charge, kinda worthless if not near an outlet.
      I'm not to blame.

I voted for the other guy!

          • Just made my big technolgy investment today, I bought two digital to analog converters after I got the government coupon. They work really good.

            • Do you mean analog to digital?

You really are old school, eh?

On the box it said digital to analog. Its taking digital airwaves and converting them to an analog signal.

Not necessarily old school, just we never did get cable. I have a cable modem, but my kids are like zombies in front of the TV with cable.

                    Oh, that makes sense.

Wow, think how much money you've saved over the years by not having cable.

                      • Oh, I tried the battery rejuvenating thing and it didn't work - I'm pretty sure I did it right and no luck.
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

                          • My TomTom GPS kept rebooting itself and being in the middle of North Carolina w/o a map or GPS made me splurge and buy a Garmin 255 from Circuit City. I've always known that Garmin made top notch stuff but shied away from them due to their premium price and Nazi-esque support policies.

This is one slick device. It doesn't have the largest screen but given how close I sit to the windshield in the Stealth I don't need anything bigger really. The software is fairly simple to pick up without having to wade through the manual. I think even my Mom could figure it out haha.

It has great battery life at 4 hours, can view pics and has an optional MSN Direct antenna that gives traffic, fuel prices, movie times, weather, news, local events, etc.

Well worth the $199 Circuit City has it on sale for.

I'm back now and the points of interest database was helpful in finding a hotel and gas stations. Great device and worked flawlessly.
