Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

I just found it extremely simple to set up different user accounts for each member of the family. My wife and I have password controled admin accounts, while the two boys (3 and 7 years old) have no passwords. The built in parental controls allow me to control where they can go online, prohibits them from downloading anything, prohibits them from playing any games not rated "E", and produces an activity report.
My 3 year old - no joke - understands how to switch to his account at any time. Its that simple.

Yes I did, but its not just email, its internet. I have an html browser. I know it sounds absurd to spend more money on that stuff than it does the phone, but that's just how I use my phone. Messaging, internet, stuff like that. I get the smallest package minute wise because I don't use that many minutes. Hell, I have over 1,800 rollover minutes.
Different people have different uses for their phones. Gonz for example, he has a pre-paid phone that he keeps in the car for just emergencies and nothing else. That works perfectly for him. Myself, I like the web browsing availability, not to mention I can text message as much as I'd like to. Different Strokes for Different Folks, ya know.Lions free since 6/23/2020

Yeah we each have our reasons...
I ordered a Sprint phone just because I could get the NFL Network on it. Turns out Sprint doesn't work for shit in Ludington, else I would have kept it. Alltel is pretty much the only game in town here.#birdsarentreal

verizon charges $50.00 per month for unlimited data connectivity whether it is a Treo or Blackberry. You can tether it for data connectivity to your pc.
The minimum data plan which works for the blackberry (blackberry technology sends emails in much smaller sizes than the windows mobile phones) is about $27.00. You can't tether and you don't want to surf the web too much or you will get dinged for data use charges.
BTW TCO blackberry is less than the Windows Smart Phones, especially when you include tech support for teaching users how to pull the battery when it locks, how to do a soft reset, and the hard reset.Brand New Detroit Lions

need help. Windows 2000.
When trying to access an internet page, I keep getting a gray box that says,
Sorry, Current Advisor will not let you see this site.
This page may contain some or all of the following:
this page does not have a rating
If you still need to see this site someone must type in a password.
Although the girls claim to know nothing about it, the 12 year old has discovered a password that seems to work. Sometimes when typing in the "password" it'll go to the next page and then another box comes up and asks if I want to send a message to microsoft, thus the inevitable boot.
Seems like a security lock of some sort, but I can't seem to figure it out."Don?t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright. - Bob Marley "

Does this help?:-
Error Message: "Sorry! Content Advisor will not allow you to see this site."
Translation: As we mentioned, Content Advisor allows you to specify sites that you do not want accessed from your computer. When a user tries to visit a disallowed site, the above message appears. Additionally, Content Advisor has a feature that lets users open sites to which you have not yet assigned a rating. If you do not have this option selected, IE assumes that you don't want to allow access to any site unless you have approved it, and it generates this error message.
Solution: Modify the Content Advisor's list of disallowed sites by going to the Tools menu, choosing Internet Options, and then selecting the Content tab. Click Settings below Content Advisor, and enter your supervisor password. On the Approved Sites tab, you can enter a Web site and specify whether users can always or never access it. You may also select the name of a site from your current list and click Remove to get rid of it.
Choose the General tab of the Content Advisor dialog box to see if you have accidentally blocked users from visiting any sites that have not yet been rated. Below User Options, make sure that the User Can See Sites Which Have No Rating option is not selected. Because it is virtually impossible for you to rate every single site on the Internet, making sure this option isn't selected is probably the best solution.AAL Quintez Cephus
