While I think that is pretty cool, sometimes I like to relax in a chair and play games. If I wanted to go through the motions of playing tennis, I would go outside and do so. The Guitar hero concept is similar, but still think the people would be better served to just pick up a guitar. I guess it's like playing, but with no skill of talent involved.
Now voice based action games sounds cool. I got a headset for my PS2 Estinoge game but it really got old quickily. The headset was fun when playing Madden online, but other then alittle shit talking in was uncomfortable to be able to talk to someone you didn't know. Never played with friends which I believe would have been better.
You need to get an Xbox and play a co-op game on live. Voice chat makes all the difference IMO. In a head-to-head game like Madden you can talk trash but in a team game you can direct your teammates so you're all working together.
I use ventrilo and team speak for playing World of Warcraft and can't envision how you would get anything complicated done without it.
I did play a team game and it was fun. I fogot the name of the game, but it is a very popular PS2 game. However I did notice that alot of people kind of clicked up and wouldn't let me in on some games. That kind of sucked.

The only logical explanation is:
I'm about to die and this is my Jacob's Ladder
Blaise Aguera y Arcas leads a dazzling demo of Photosynth, software that could transform the way we look at digital images. Using still photos culled from the Web, Photosynth builds breathtaking dreamscapes and lets us navigate them.
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.
I haven't researched how they do it yet, but I thought it was pretty cool.
That whole thing with piecing together an image from thousands or millions of other images is really wild - I can't imagine how that's done without a lot of human manipulation.

Dave, it worked beautifully while I was out of town. It generally adjusts to how fast (or slow) your connection may be so it's not a total bandwidth hog. It's also very easy to set up. I bought their wireless ethernet bridge solution and was impressed with how well it worked.
However, I have not used it since returning from Nashville and I may try to sell it.
