          True. I got both. The PS4 after the Xbox came out has only been turned on twice. The Xbox is on even if I don't have any intention to play games. Also not having to hunt down a remote or controller 90% of the time is nice, whether or not it silly to be talking to a TV.

                    We couldnt afford the earliest game (see below) but my 1st cousins that i saw quite often did have one that we wore out

                          I think that'd be a good toy for a kid...let them have fun while doing a chore.

                              I can't find a picture of the first one we had. I remember it came free with a TV that my parents rented from a company called Visionhire. The controls where built into the console one each side which made it a hard to play without moving it away from my sister.
