    • My S3 is only about 6 months old, so I'm planning on keeping it at least a few years. Notes are too big for me, but they do have the S4 waterproof version now. Probably a good idea for me....
The only thing missing from that Marvin Jones touchdown reversal is that it wasn't a first round playoff game.

Doubt it's a moving part. Chances are the sensor is an enclosed piece with Mercury in it, which would imply a possible electronic issue and not an easy fix. Maybe a bad solder ruined by the water, or maybe a shorted part.

        • That's what I was wondering Topweasel. Not sure if it's an actual moving part or not.

          • So, Top, have you discovered WPCentral yet? Get the app. It's my most-used app and will keep you in the loop on what is out there for your phone.

BTW, they finally released a MLB At Bat app for WP...it's pretty sweet.

I have visited WPcentral from time to time (also Androidcentral a sister site when I had Androids). But they usually only had fluff software reviews. Has it become a better WP News site?

              • I'd say it's the go-to site for WP news. They still do reviews, of course. Also, they have a great forum. And the app is awesome.

                  • Just installed a projector into the kids playroom. Sunday nights are mine in there now!
We were talking about getting a new TV in the main room and moving the existing TV into the playroom. Went to a friends house and he had just put a projector in, I was surprised how good it was.

I got second hand kit and it cost less than a new TV. Projector was ?180, Electric Screen, ?55 Digital TV box ?25, speakers ?15 (Only cheap ones at the moment but will do) and the AV Amp was ?45. Although I bought the amp on ebay while a bit drunk, failed to notice it didn't work properly (hence I got it for half the normal going rate) however ?1 worth of capacitors and some fun soldering later and it works great.

X-box, digital TV box and PC are all hooked up to it via HDMI. Really pleased with it and had great fun running the cables through the loft etc.

So if any of you find yourselves in this part of the world, you are more than welcome to come watch a game on the big screen. I am pretty proficient in making Marks Jambalaya now too (Kid's love it so I make it about twice a month).

Not brewing my own beer though, but some good brewerys nearby for anyone to try. No pool although I might be able to find a the kid's whale paddling pool that spray water out of it's tail. (I'm sure we have some green food dye in the kitchen too).

I am working on getting a full size Weber one touch soon though, I'll then be pestering people for recipes (LFIJ Turkey and I'm sure I saw a beautiful piece of pork a while ago (CGVT's??)). Can't vouch for the Lions performances though.

                          • Turns out, my gyro in the S3 is fine. I just had auto screen rotate turned off in the settings somehow. I figured I'd get around to checking that first when I actually looked into the problem.

Thanks for the heads up on that ULF. I had seen the Ooma but had just assumed it was only hardware. Now that I know it includes the VOIP service too, I think I *will* give that a try.
