SLF - if you own a house you would need to invest in a house mounted antenna - and that's assuming you can get local channels in hi def. where I am, charter is required to carry and transmit the HD local channels "free of charge" with their analog cable package, the same can be picked up if I had a house mounted antenna....Got Kneecaps?

Well, I think it is time for me to purchase a new computer. I've had a long run with my laptop, and I want something new that won't require selling a kidney. I use a computer mainly to surf the internet, compose word processing and spreadsheets, downloading music, and PowerPoint. I'm not into playing games on my computer, that's what my Xbox is for. If anyone has some suggestions of what I should look for in storage, ram, processor, etc I would greatly appreciate it.Lions free since 6/23/2020

Also you need your tv to scan the channels for it to unlock them.Originally posted by SeattleLionsFan View PostUgh. There's no other option? I don't want an antennaOriginally posted by Tony G View Post
SLF, you can go to www.antennapoint.com to find out how far away your local towers are."Don?t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright. - Bob Marley "

Thanks Shark. Living in the city, I'm less than 10 miles from the antennas. Plus there's no chance we are getting anything else.
We use Hulu and Netflix. I think they largely serve different niches. Hulu is better for current tv shows but Netflix is better for movies, old tv shows and documentaries. To be a professional means that you don't die. - Takeru "the Tsunami" Kobayashi
