Can someone offer some help on an iPhone/Internet/forum thing I want to do. Was in St Andrews last weekend, my wife snapped my pic whilst I was standing on the swilken bridge on the old course, (famous Nicklaus pics standing on that thing, big tourist attraction for such a shitty looking thing)..... But I proudly wore one of my Detroit lions t shirts with the full intention of posting the pic on here. How do I lift a picture from my iPhone and get it onto the forum in the ugly bastard section?

On a separate topic - any of you thinking of building an HTPC. Go with a tuner with a hardware MPEG2 encoder. I recommend Hauppague but don't go with the HVR-1950, which is an external USB tuner. Issues with both WMC and WinTV not getting a signal after reboots and constant power cycling of the tuner to fix it. Support thinks it's a driver issue, but don't have a solution.

Went with the HVR-2250 as a replacement, should have it Friday.

When you say pc, is laptop ok? Lol...., really sorry, you must excuse the retardedness of me and electronic technology. When my son left for university in London 4 years ago, with him went all my computer know how! I'd call him but he's away back to Albuquerque , NM for more carbon storage experiments in the desert...., he'd politely tell me to go boil ma heed.

If you're running Windows - the phone should appear in "My Computer" as an accessible device - double click it to drill down to the camera roll and you should be able to copy it from there directly.

Got my wife the HTC Thunderbolt. It's super nice but I'm glad she uses a purse cause it's huge. I'd hate to have that in my front pocket all day.

Anyhow, great phone, but again prolly better for people who don't carry the phones in their pockets.

I priced out a Droid Bionic. At $270 plus over $250 for the keyboard dock I can't justify the cost yet

My plan right now is to keep my vibrant for as long as I can, cracked screen and all. Then go with the slimmest android I can get (in 6month to a year from now) and perhaps get a tab to supplement it that will spend most of its time as a large screen GPS/map and music player mounted in my car.

There is an android based car sterio that just came out by a company called parrot but it's screen is tiny. Doesn't look very functional to me. I'd rather just use the audio in with a smart phone or tab (bluetooth is slick but it effects sound quality).

I used the Photobucket app on my iphone to post that pic from the Lions/Bucs game last week. Very quick and easy. If you ave any questions, just let me know.
